Professor Emeritus Norman Girvan- Caribbean Intellectual and Patriot
The University of the West Indies, on Saturday 10th May, 2014, together with the Cropper Foundation, the Lloyd Best Institute of the West Indies and the Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union paid tribute to Professor Emeritus Norman Girvan, ‘a true Caribbean man,’ as was declared by several speakers during the memorial service, which celebrated Professor Girvan’s life.
