Tourism as a Key Sector for Development in Island States Conference
Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which was renegotiated in order to revitalise and improve collaboration and co-operation between the two organisations in the area of sustainable tourism. The MOU was signed on February 19th, 2014 at the Historic House of the Governor General of The Bahamas, on the occasion of the Confernce: Tourism as a Key Sector for Development in Island States, jointly organised by Ministry of Tourism of The Bahamas and the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
