COMMENCEMENT: ANNUAL SPECIALIZED COURSE IN HYDROGRAPHY AND CARTOGRAPHY IN VERACRUZ, MEXICO
As part of the implementation of the Project to Strengthen Hydrographic Capacities in Mesoamerica and the Caribbean (FOCAHIMECA), and thanks to the financial support of the Mexican Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AMEXCID), six (6) scholarships were awarded to enable participation in the Annual Course in Hydrography and Cartography in the city of Veracruz, Mexico from January to December 2017. The participants were from institutions responsible for hydrographic related issues from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic. This photo shows the candidates nominated by these countries during the official act of the opening ceremony in the facilities of the Marine Secretariat of Mexico (SEMAR).
