Inaugural Cooperation Conference of the ACS (Havana, Cuba)
The Association of Caribbean States is hosting its Inaugural Cooperation Conference in Havana, Cuba to provide information on the state of cooperation programmes, and in turn, to mobilise resources for current and proposed projects.
Originally, the conference was conceived to encourage more meaningful participation of observer countries and entities within the ACS. In attendance are member states, specially invited countries, international organisations, United Nations Funds, and other actors who contribute significantly to regional work in the areas of climate change, transport, disaster risk reduction, sustainable tourism, trade, and the protection of the Caribbean Sea.
