ACS & CARICOM IMPACS Discuss Cooperation on Tourism Security
The Directorate of Trade and Sustainable Development met with CARICOM IMPACS at the ACS Secretariat recently to discuss issues of visitor safety and security in the Greater Caribbean, and examine areas of potential cooperation. The ACS team was led by Director José Miguel Rovira also engaged the IMPACS delegation on issues of security regarding Disaster RIsk Reduction. CARICOM IMPACS is the Caribbean Community Implementation Agency for Crime and Security, which has the responsibility of implementing a regional architecture to manage CARICOM’s action agenda on crime and security.
