Regional Artisan Network Meets at Secretariat

For the sixth time, handicraft artisans from around the region gathered to exchange business best practice and interact artist to artist, under an ACS project. The 6th Regional Workshop for the Strengthening of Capacity-Building and 5th Meeting of the Regional Network of Artisans in Tourism of the Greater Caribbean was held, at the ACS Secretariat in Port-of-Spain for the first time. The artisans benefited from presentations on cooperation for strengthening the handicraft industry, development of artisan and cultural MSMEs (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) and protection of intellectual property from the Caribbean Heritage Network and ExporTT (T&T’s Export Promotion Agency), among others.
