Secretary General participated in the XXIX Latin American Ports Congress, held in Cartagena, Colombia.

Secretary General spoke about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ACS actions to achieve recovery, among which he highlighted the regional maritime transport and logistics strategy and digital transformation. Secretary General was joined at the congress by the Vice President of Colombia who also gave a keynote presentation on the role of Colombia's maritime and port sector in improving the competitiveness of foreign trade at the regional level.
