Secretary General meets with the Ambassador of China to Trinidad & Tobago

Secretary General Rodolfo Sabonge met with H.E. Fang Qiu, Ambassador of China to Trinidad & Tobago. They discussed ongoing priorities in the region, and China confirmed its willingness and interest in contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Greater Caribbean. Some of the topics discussed included the impact of Climate Change and the need for a solution to the connectivity problems to be able to improve intra-regional trade and sustainable tourism.
