World Oceans Month Social Media Campaign
From June 5th to 27th, 2023, the ACS embarked on a purpose-driven World Oceans Month social media campaign to commemorate this important month, promote sustainable practices and raise interest in the 2023 IPReM conference
By using concise yet impactful short-form videos, the Sandy Shorelines team made a call for action for sustainable ocean and coastal management.
We invite you explore this campaign as we continue to foster positive transformations, ocean and coastal protection and stewardship.

Save Our Shorelines! Competition
From March to May 2023, we invited participants to embark on a journey of discovery. Armed with their smartphones, they ventured to their local beaches, capturing the stories of coastal erosion through photographs. But that’s not all—participants proposed ingenious solutions to combat erosion and shared their findings on Facebook, tagging the ACS’ page.
And the Winners Are...
Our vibrant competition drew entries from countries including Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, Jamaica, Guyana, and Haiti, showcasing the spirit of regional participation. The judging panel was moved by the creativity and dedication of our participants. Winners were selected in the two

Going the Extra Mile
